Ultimate Dreams 7-Inch Crazy Quilt TriZone Mattress Features

Firmness grade: 4

This 7 inch Dreamfoam Bedding mattress is close to the soft side. We can say it’s a mattress for children because it’s too soft for adults. Adults sink in too much and receive little support. The lack of support leads to difficulty in turning sides or changing positions while you sleep. However, it has no problem to provide plush comfort and support for kids.

Perfect for bunk beds

As it’s a medium to soft mattress, it needs enough solid support. The bunk beds are perfect because they have a flat wood bunk board covering the whole bottom of the bed to distribute pressure evenly. If you want to use place it on wood slats, make sure slats aren’t more than 3-inch apart.

7 inches mattress is too thin for adult but it’s just right for kids. This Ultimate Dreams memory foam mattress isn’t available in all sizes, just full, twin and queen. But they developed two additional combinations. So we can choose Twin/Full or Twin/Twin. That provides convenience for parents who want order two twin mattresses or a full and a twin.

Guest bed

This is also a great mattress for guest room for temporary use of visitors. If you want to use it as a primary mattress in your master bedroom, we don’t recommend it. The quality can’t support you very long. Especially heavy persons will find it uncomfortable and no support. It’s no question one of best mattress for kids.

It seems they have updated return policy for the purchase made on their website and all return in free trial will receive full refund. But If you buy from Amazon, it only applies to Amazon 30 day return policy. If you buy from Dreamfoam Bedding official site, they give 90 day free trial. 5 year warranty

Many mattress brands are providing very long warranty like 20 or 25 years for their products but Dreamfoam Bedding is giving shorter warranties. Different materials of mattresses have different warranty length. Dreamfoam latex mattresses and memory foam mattresses come with 10 year limited warranty but Polyurethane foam models like Ultimate Dreams Crazy Quilt with 7-Inch TriZone Mattress have a 5 year limited warranty. One thing you need to know that warranty length doesn’t have a direct connect with durability. Click to learn more

Polyurethane foam not memory foam or spring

This Ultimate Dreams Crazy Quilt mattress isn’t made with memory foam or coil springs but polyurethane foam. Compared to memory foam, Poly foam isn’t that durable and usually lasts a few years. The mattress doesn’t have a top layer but a 0.75-inch quilting layer. 6.75-inch poly foam is all of it and responsible for comfort and support.

TriZone feature

DreamFoam Bedding made a little change on the mattress and developed TriZone feature. They divide a mattress into three zones, neck, lumbar and legs. Based on our body, three parts are applying different constructions to offer appropriate support for three zones. It doesn’t produce pressure points or worsen back pain.

Other tips you should know

The bed is compressed for shipping. The instructions recommend 1-2 days for mattress to recover its full shape and remove the odor.
